This is the essential Ep in Vorphalack history. This means that it is more mature, better crafted and also the best sounding record of this band. Its sound may remind older Samael creations – having this excellent feeling of a crusade. This has been achieved by Khal's guitar skills; this album in total reminds Nocternity.
On the other hand it is not particularly fast and brutal album. It contains rather thrashy riffs (being very heavy at moments) and damn ‘deep’ percussion - again similar to Nocternity. Vocals are hidden behind this great atmosphere, sometimes they are reduced to whispers. They are not flawless but they also do not ruin the impression after listening. In short - two very entertaining songs which both last 13 minutes, is what makes this Ep so powerful and especially promising. No fillers, no unnecessary moments, just pure musical crusade.
